Rough weekend for Sofi at Winton
SOMETIMES, things just don’t go to plan.
WINTON was a tough weekend for the AmPro Tools Dallara, with Mat Sofi coming away with a fourth place finish and a DNF from the Victorian Circuit.
Sofi made contact with Tom Tweedie in race one after attempting a pass at turn eleven. A racing incident, the contact damaged the front suspension of Sofi's Dallara and put him out of the race. He recovered from a slow start in race two to score fourth place points and consolidate fourth in the championship. The next round will be at Eastern Creek.
